Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, MD
Vice Chairman, Narayana Health Group Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi joined Narayana Health as a Senior Cardiac Surgeon. He is credited with the establishment of Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata, where he joined as Director in 2000 and is today one of the largest Multispecialty Hospital in Eastern India. In 2009 he was appointed as the Vice-Chairman & Group CEO and Executive Director of the NH Group. In 2011, he was appointed the Managing Director of NH Group of Hospitals. In this role, he is responsible for the administration of all the group hospitals through the corporate office. He is also pioneering the growth of the Group by being actively involved in pursuing new opportunities for expansion and setting up new hospitals across the country and abroad. Under his able leadership Narayana Health grew from strength to strength to its current reach of 22 hospitals in 14 cities across India and health cities in Cayman Islands as well as Malaysia.
Dr. Raghuvanshi has done his M.Ch. in Cardiac Surgery from University of Bombay. Prior to joining Narayana Health, he worked at several renowned hospitals including Bombay Hospital in Mumbai, Apollo Hospitals in Chennai and Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Raghuvanshi has travelled widely and visited reputed hospitals all over the world and presented papers in various internationally acclaimed journals and forums. He has to his credit the establishment of paediatric Cardiac centre at Sana’a, Republic of Yemen, which was the first cardiac unit established in that country.
